How Gutters and Downspouts Protect Your Home

Gutters and downspouts are designed to carry rainwater away from your home. The rain gutter is a narrow trough that is attached to the outer edge of the roof to collect water and redirect it away from the building. The downspouts, or spouts, are typically connected to the gutters at the corners. Additional drainage systems are often needed to divert the water further away from the building.

A faulty rain gutter system can contribute to damage to soffits and fascia, shingles, building foundations, landscaping and walkways.

Why Seamless Gutters and Downspouts?

Seamless gutters are rain gutters that are cut from a pre-formed roll of composite metal. They are the preferred type of rain gutter because the seamless base greatly reduces the possibility of leaks and clogs. Think about it, no seams means no leaks. And, seamless gutters come in a variety of colors to match the exterior color of your home. In addition to these benefits, seamless gutters make your home look better and increase the value of your home.

Our Seamless Gutters are of the Highest Quality. We use 0.32 gauge material, the heaviest gauge aluminum available for seamless gutters.

Custom Installation Makes All the Difference

We don't use a one size fits all approach. All gutters and downspouts are sized for your specific roof. Typical homebuilder installations will have hangers or spikes at every 30" or 40". We use hidden hangers every 24 inches for added strength and they are virtually invisible. We secure our hangers with screws instead of nails so they are less likely to come loose when the gutters are exposed to heavy winds, snow, and ice.

Often, gutters are hung evenly with the roofline by eyesight which causes standing water. We install gutters correctly to drain with a level. Gutters that are installed with many pieces will have seams around the corners and downspouts that are more prone to clogging with leaves and asphalt shingle debris. Seamless gutters are stronger and require less maintenance for the life of your home.
